Petition for Recognition

Petitions for previously recognized groups are to be submitted by groups between June 1st and September 30th each academic year and recognition is valid for one year (so it must be renewed on an annual basis). The GSS will only review or approve petitions outside of the denoted petition period for newly created organizations.

Request for GSS Funds by Recognized Group

According to GSS bylaws, Article VII.G.2 Requests for funding must be submitted to and received by the Student Organizations & Allocations committee chairperson (see Committees page) no earlier than September 1st and no later than April 1st of the current academic year. Funding up to $500/year may be awarded by the GSS for a single or multiple events.
